Lamps: INFRARED - IR

INFRARED LAMPS - IR – These light bulbs emit abundant infrared light and little visible light, so they generate a lot of heat but not much light. They are suitable for promoting healthy growth in poultry and other birds, and are very useful for convalescent caged birds. In terrariums they are widely used to provide the infrared light necessary to the healthy development of reptiles and hamsters. Their light spectrum is between 700 nm and 50.000 nm.
